McIntosh Mechanical Inc. received its name from Wally McIntosh, a well-known sheet metal worker from Sarnia, Ontario. Wally was a talented sheet metal worker who valued hard work and education. He started his own company in the mid 1900s, working independently to create quality products for Sarnia’s growing industrial sector. Wally’s passion for sheet metal fabrication lead him to become the President of the Ontario Sheet Metal Contractors Association. Sadly, Wally passed away unexpectedly in 1982 during the height of his career.

Following Wally’s passing, Larry McDonald purchased the company from Wally’s wife, Leone. Having been Wally’s colleague for several years, Larry had come to understand the values of McIntosh Mechanical Inc. As the business grew, Brain Bissell became a partner and was a key figure in influencing the future of our company.

Today, Jeff Bissell and Kyle Reid lead McIntosh Mechanical Inc. Although our company has undergone many changes, we understand it is important to stay true to our roots. We strive to work closely with our clients and deliver high quality products that we can be proud of.
